just for the year?
Yeah. Will take a month or two off. I want to do the Comrades down run next year so training for that will begin in earnest probably in Jan.

just for the year?
Doing my 4th Cpt Marathon on Sunday (only because a friend of mine is doing her first marathon and I said I'd get her through it) and then I think that will be me done for the year. I feel jaded and not lus to run any more. I might do the odd trail here and there but for the most part, Saturday and Sunday mornings will be mine to spend as I please.
a run is still a run!did a small 1km "run" today to start getting back into it - feeling like a lazy pos here

I use a Salomon adv 12, fits everything for needed for ultras. The Salomon's (and others like Ultinate Direction) are more like a vest so don't bounce on your back even when fully loaded. But they are not as suited to mountain biking.@roskii thanks will definitely look into both shoes and. What hydration pack /camelback do you use? Want one that can double up for mountain biking and wiling to spend a bit more on quality that will last for a couple of years.
Everyone needs a break from time to time and running takes a lot out of you.
How did Cpt marathon go?
