Serial breaker of phones
So below are my experiences with the service so far.
Signing up was super easy and quick.
Found a movie(Surrogates) to watch easily. Movie played at HD for the most part. bit rates fluctuated, but the fastest I saw was 4MB/s. I had slight stuttering every now again. Nothing major and didnt really detract from the experience.
I like that one can skip forward and back a lot easier than Netflix. With Netflix you need to wait a few seconds as the whole things load again, while with this, the movie played almost immediately.
One downside to player is that it cannot be resized or moved. Only made full screen or tiny screen.
The site still has a few bugs. Got logged out randomly once for no reason. Sometimes when you click something the page reloads, instead of taking you to the thing you clicked on.
The filters need some work. They don't seem to be working correctly.
The site remembers where you are when you stop watching something. There are also password protected parental controls.
For the first day of launch I'm surprised how well it's working to be honest. EA and Blizzard could learn a thing or two.
The service has no anime that I could see.
All in all a good start if you ask me. Definitely give the trial a try. While the content is still a bit thin, it can only grow and worth supporting if you ask me. I'll be keeping my sub to show my support for this local streaming service.
Won't be cancelling my Netflix any time soon though.
