The Official Xiaomi Thread

Not sure if anyone else has encountered this, but my A2 Lite seems to randomly disconnect during calls. I noticed that the MTN reception was dropping to nothing randomly and have a feeling that's causing the problem. Happens when on speaker phone too. I switched from 4G to 3G and it seems a little more stable.

However, we have many phones in the house on MTN and none of them disconnect during calls (eg a Huawei P30 & P40 lite). Any thoughts?
A2 lite has had a lot of issues generally especially after its last OS update according to other forums.

Yeah I agree. I only used it for a few months but I had Vodacom on it. Now I've given it to a family member but it keeps doing this.

I use the 9T and Note 9S but those work perfectly

Finally got my replacement screen for my redmi note 8 pro. But now my fingerprint unlock doesnt work. Weird part is there isn't even any options in settings for it anymore. It was off since November 2020 so did a whole bunch of updates. So did i miss some update that disabled it? Or would MUI pick up a broken sensor and remove the options by itself?

Give this a try. It is possible that the sensor could have gotten damaged:

Enter the CIT menu and run the fingerprint test.

Enter *#*#64663#*#* into the phone dialler to access this menu. If it fails (or isn't present) there then the hardware has failed.

It just immediatly goes away, nothing seems to happen so i am guessing the module failed. Thanks for the assist Phireside

Anyone who thinks their bluetooth audio output is a bit on the weedy and quiet side should check in Developer Options if Xiaomi has set the “let’s strangle BT output to sound absolutely crap” option on (aka the “Disable Absolute Volume“ switch in the Networking section). Switch it to off and reboot the phone.

I can’t believe the difference in sound quality on my Mi10T (especially bass and clarity) and volume now after switching the setting off.

Ever since I updated my Note 9S to MIUI 12.0.3.0, I found that sometimes when rebooting it gets stuck on the Redmi Screen. I have to hold down the volume button and power button to get it to boot.

I'm updating mine this evening.
Will respond if I have a similar problem.

Received MIUI-V12.0.2.0.QJZMIXM update on Note 9 Pro this evening.

"Updated Android Security Patch to January 2021. Increased system security."

Something I observed. Mi Africa had like 127 Redmi 9c in stock 10 days ago. Only 11 left earlier today. Goooo 9C

The phone is awesome. 2GB of RAM so little....but the Xiaomi software handles it and the phone flies. Best bang for your buck.

Where is the best place to buy replacement filters for my original Xiaomi Mi robot vacuum?
It seems MIA only has filters for the mop vacuum, while I have the 1st generation robot vacuum. Are the filters interchangeable?
