Why don't you use Xiaomi fastboot tools and strip out the crap
You'd have to log back in to the app as normal. The encryption keys changed so it'll have to recertify your device to accessJust one question.
Banking apps like Capitec, Tymebank etc, are these anally retentive about the ROM they're running on?
I don't want to switch over to, say LineageOS, only to have the Capitec app **** itself when I try to run it.
Few years ago when my Vodacom contract came to an end, I converted to prepaid and then moved over to Telkom with the intention of testing their network first before signing up for a new contract. Suffice to say that I am still on on prepaid with Telkom and never signed that 2 year contract. I buy all my phones cash only and have saved so much over the years.I currently have a Huawei P30 Lite which to date has been a very good phone. I am due for an update soon and was considering a Samsung A32 which is good value (R249 pm) at Telkom, but I am not crazy about the some of the specs. I have looked at several reviews about the Xiaomi Remi Note 10 Pro and am very impressed, but have never bought a phone outright. I have always thought there was some recourse "safety" in contracts.
So I am looking for some advise. Should I bite the bullet and go for the Xiaomi over an A32 on contract? It seems to be a much better phone.
Thanks Magandroid, that's the way I feel, and also waiting for BF dealsNow just waiting for Blackfriday specials on the Note 10 Pro.
I have been told that my current Telkom contract sim will not work in a Note 10 pro!
Does anybody here know if that is true? My contract end in Dec so under normal circumstances I should be able to use the sim in another phone?

Am about to order from MIA.Can't see why it won't work - where did you buy your Note10 from?
I see it's single SIM, any way to change that to work with 2 SIMs?![]()

I think someone posted previously that Vodacom block the second SIM and it can't be enabledAnyone know if the Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G supplied by vodacom is single sim?
i cant find any information on this on their site and to my knowledge, only the dual sim is available world wide. There is no single sim variant.
