I do actually use Samsung Wallet, but we're talking about the cost of the device as in the price of the Xiaomi comes close to the cost of the Samsung of similar quality.

Wife has a 3 year old Redmi, I had one. No problems whatsoever. Only sold mine as I didn't check before buying if it has NFC
