Does that come off? Never tried Its usually in a silicone cover... if it wasnt for my drivers license and credit card - the phone would have been a complete write-off - pity about that.

Rather sad - phone was partially working - but when I tried to remove the sim cards it completely died.. the actual sim card holder is a bit bent.

They're going to collect the phone for a repair quote :wtf:

I see you also have one of those giant world map mouse pads. I got mine off Aliexpress...took 3 months to get here. If I could get them quickly I would buy another 2 or 3 of them - great for putting on top of work desks.

Yeh - did the desk myself, but its pine - so rather soft, wanted something I could put under everything to lessen any potential damage. Can't recall where I got it though.

They said MIUI 9 Global will be released yesterday, in India. How long before we'll see it on their website or the updater app? Mi Max 2 was said to get it yesterday.....in India.

I dont see the MI 6 in that list,Still waiting for the update,

Maybe you should load Miui 9 developer ROM and see if it helps in the meantime

So I checked uodater on phone yesterday and it automatically said no updates after checking itself. But I pressed the three dots on top right and download update was available. I just downloaded what could be ver 9. Installing on phone now.

Wierd. That was a big download, phone was restarted , said MIUI was being updated. But MIUI still on same version. On a note 4..

It does that when you tap download update , it will re-download your current version.

I have one, love the phone. Have a bit of small problems but its the fault of nova launcher so not the phone at all. I bought from Gearbest which was a **** experience due to their incompetence.

When buying ensure you give the correct postal code otherwise you will wait up to 14 days for them to send it.

When they did eventually ship. What was the time line after that ? Did you use priority line ?

Yes used priority. I cant really remember but I think it was 7 days and I had the phone.

Security patch date is 2017-07-05

Note 2 & Note 4X. Doesn't pickup USB connection, even though I can sewe it on my PC.

I can't see my phone on my Linux distro either. Everything else works.

I have one. Waited less than 7 days I think. I had a good experience with gearbest. I'm running stock miui and no problems but small things that could've been automated, like automatically going into battery saver mode once you unplug it from the charger. I get about 2 days and 5 hours out of it from full charge.

Buy a screen protector as well. I'm still using the one with the Chinese words on mine.
