For witch one? Hope you watched the Stock & Ship dates?

For example the black ones I linked:
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X (Ships between Jun 6 - Jun 8)
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 ( Dispatch: Ships between Jun 2 - Jun 14)

Example The Gray ones are in stock and ship next day.

I chose the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Black one, but before checkout it said June 1 (on mobile app). Maybe checked a different link without knowing. But Jun 6 - Jun 8 will also be fine, sjoe (which is what it shows now).

Really good prices, also clearing stock of the Note 3 as it's being replaced. My G4 went into a boot loop this morning :-( so this is tempting, if it wasn't for the Note 3 sub-par camera

Yeah G4 really not the best quality. Very nice phone if it wasn't for the motherboard (bootloop related) issues and the faulty buttons and OrangeZA who packed their bags and screwed us all. So far my phone is okay (already had motherboard replaced month after I bought it), but now the back buttons are not always responding.

I hear what you say about the camera, but for that price I won't complain. There are always the higher end Xiaomi phones which I assume are much better.

Yeah and their price tags are also a lot higher ;-). On pretty much everything the Note 3 is the better phone than the G4, besides the camera and the QHD screen. But the actual screen quality on the Note 3 is surprisingly good, my wife has one and she came from the Note 2 which wasn't bad but not great.

My mom has a Note 2, I was very surprised with the screen quality, even compared to my G4.

Yup it was surprisingly, it also doesn't suffer from the weird light issue the LG G4 screen where it just cannot dim or brighten properly.

I am getting a bit f***ed off with my Redmi Note 2 right now. I thought maybe my calling issue I have where I cannot use my earpiece would be related to the SIM slot so I tried switching SIM cards to the other slot. No joy.

I also tried installing Resurrection Rom to see if it was a software bug but this also did not solve anything. Funny as I can use Whatsapp calling just fine and then my earpiece seems to work OK...

I am not currently in high spirits about the Note 4 that I ordered from Geekbuying and I have little faith in me actually being happy with it :(
 
Nearly. Order was placed on the 27th of March. Customs has had the phone itself, the ****ing important bit that I actually need seeing as my current phone is full of ****, since the 22nd of this month. ****ers
 
Glad I decided to get a refund... I've received numerous items I've ordered since then from other sites.
 
The issue that I have is that a lot of others based on a quick Google search seem to be having related issues to mine, whereby the earpiece stops working or works intermittently. For some a custom ROM has helped, others by rooting it, others by swapping SIM card slots. Yet Xiaomi seems to not want to acknowledge that there is a flaw in their products and are not willing to offer any repairs or solutions to those affected.

Sadly for me I am out of warranty but I will take great pleasure in whacking this phone with a hammer until it resembles a pile of powdered plastic
 
Sounds similar to the issue with the buttons that stopped working on the Redmi 2, its a known issue.

I also read some reviews on the Note series (not only Note 2) and a couple of people have complained about the sound issue. Hope the one I ordered from GearBest is fine. It does seem like they have a good refund policy. Interesting that Xiaomi doesn't want to admit it. My moms note 2 had an issue where it just randomly restarted (after it updated to the latest MIUI available for Note 2), I just did a reset and since then everything was fine. Wonder if it is maybe not related to MIUI.

I avoided Geekbuying as they only gave me two options for shipping, both looked like they were SAPO related which means customs will be an issue.
