No problems. I just got an email from Gearbest that my tablet has been shipped after 2 months waiting. Wonder how long it will take to get here...Oh sorry I thought he was referring to Adoxographist's screenshot

Yeah guess that is anybody's guess. I was lucky to get my recent order delivered before the lockdown at least. No problems. I just got an email from Gearbest that my tablet has been shipped after 2 months waiting. Wonder how long it will take to get here...
If shipped via Buffalo , there's no customs duties. However, phones etc shipped from the China warehouse via DHL are charged. So for a R4000 cellphone expect about R500 extra. For a tablet ... well nothingYeah guess that is anybody's guess. I was lucky to get my recent order delivered before the lockdown at least.
I ordered a few smartphone covers and tempered glass items for xiaomi phone models I could not get locally as well as some smart switches back in january but my order also did not move. When I spoke to them on their web chat option it seemed the problem was with the smart switches contantly being out of stock that delayed my order.
I then cancelled the switches and added a xiaomi amazfit gtr smart watch. It then left their warehouse on 27 Feb and it got delivered to me on 10 March by a courier called 'BUFFALO international logistics' - first time for me for an order from gearbest.
The amazing thing is I never paid a cent in import cost on this particular order - also a first for me. Even the expidited shipping via BUFFALO was only $0.72 lol:
Yeah my past orders I have always chosen expedited shipping and they came via aramex or DHL and then I always paid custom duties. That is why I was surprised in this caseIf shipped via Buffalo , there's no customs duties. However, phones etc shipped from the China warehouse via DHL are charged. Think it was "Priority Line" although I did not add it myself. I first bought phone covers which was shipped via priority line and then spoke to them via their web chat and asked them to add the watch. What did the buffalo shipping option list as on gearbeat?

although it is about $10 more than I paid.
In the past I have found some items in a HK warehouse won't ship to SA, not sure if it is still so. All my past orders including my mi smartphones has been from a CN warehouse.Looks like only with items from CN warehouse gets priority. Most of the phones and smartwatches are HK
I see the image has changed now...
