The Official Xiaomi Thread

@Ockie - you have the Redmi 9C? I have a Redmi 9 but no facility to record - once the call connects there is no result whether I swipe left or right. Maybe firmware/Android version? I'm on Miui 12.0.3, Android 10.

Anyone get irritated by the "audio ducking" feature? Where a notification lowers the sound of a video/music thats playing even though your phone is on silent/vibrate?

Yeah, I don't see that record option on my Note 9S, but my 9T has it using the stock app.

No, I can’t say I’ve ever noticed it. I’m currently listening to music on my Mi10T (via Apple Music) and I’ve received 4 or 5 notifications without any change to to the playback volume.

Happens to me. Always thought it is normal

I don’t remember changing any settings relating to notifications while streaming, but I definitely just get the notifications pop up without any audible notification or volume drop.

Though, anyone getting a new phone that uses BT headphones must check their BT settings in developer options if they want to improve their audio quality. I posted the full guide a couple of pages back, one setting changed made a huge difference to music playback quality.
