Enter this code to your dialer to disable the carrier check and have the setting show *#*#869434#*#*I use Cell C. I have used the same sim to do Wifi calling from my old Huawei before so it is not a network issue. The Xiaomi just does not have wifi calling option for some weird reason.

Wow, thank you. This solved the issue.

I bought a 10C from MIA this week.Have Core Group stopped selling Xiaomi phones in SA? MIA isn't selling any phones at the moment, and we haven't really had a new release in ages.
Subscribe to the Carbonite mobile devices forum and check in there regularly. I have seen both of those devices for sale in sealed condition before. We really don't get the nice phones in SA or they have a huge markup. I'm looking for a Poco F5 or maybe the Pixel 7 but looks like I'll have to import or pay a big premium.

I've not used NFC, but it does seem to be listed in the connectivity settings of my Redmi Note 12 Pro.Does anyone know if the Redmi Note 12 Pro from Vodacom has NFC?
I have a choice between the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Samsung A34, any thoughts?
I asked them, as it was not listed anywhere with NFC as feature. negative. Only the 12 Pro Plus has in RSA (depends on region).Does anyone know if the Redmi Note 12 Pro from Vodacom has NFC?

I am also looking at the Poco F5, gonna wait for the 11th Nov deals and then decide. All the reviews looks decent so far, so hopefully it is that good!We really don't get the nice phones in SA or they have a huge markup.
