When Xiaomi realised they could take on Huawei now :-P. Plus the complex nature of smartphones now I guess.
 
Their problem and the reason I didnt replace my 11 T Pro with another is that for that price, they are no longer disposable and they really do not support their products. They don't have the local presence that even Huawei still have.
 
Their prices have gone up so much for their better snapdragon based phones that I finally pulled the plug on all my Xiaomi purchases.
The Mi Pad you can't easily get either anymore and the sellers inflate the price.

Pixel 8 goes for 10k
Pixel Tablet goes for 7k

No more having to wait 2 weeks to unlock the bootloader in order to load custom roms to get rid of all the chinese crapware.

On the Pixel, GrapheneOS installs in a couple of minutes and job's done.
 
Looking for a Xiaomi (or similiar) phone that supports multipoint bluetooth, DP Alt Mode and dual sim, that doesn't break the bank, seems its only their premium phones that support DP Alt Mode?

Yeah I'm leaving the Xiaomi brigade too, the 14T pricing was the last straw, it's not even a Samsung Galaxy S24fe competitor (that's the Pro version) yet they want S24 money for it. 9k in "taxes" while Samsung doesn't ask the consumer that?....nah I'm good Xiaomi, good luck with the car.

Can anyone share some views on the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G phone? Considering it for my son. General use (some gaming) and battery is what I am looking for. Either this or the Galaxy A35 5G.

Has anyone bought off mistore.africa ?

Im looking to purchase a smart band 9, which mistore.africa is selling for R999. All local shops are still selling the Smart band 7 and 8.
