I'm struggling to find a good pair of over ear gaming headphones with noise cancelling.
I wanted to go for the Corsair Void Pro SE and sync it with my keyboard but... there are so many options out there.
What are you guys using? And for those with the Void Pro SE, what is your take on it?

Okay, so my current build is coming along nicely. Have already purchased the following parts and awaiting delivery on one more item before I can boot up and test the setup:

Cooler Master MasterCare MC500 ATX Desktop Chassis (https://www.takealot.com/cooler-master-mastercare-mc500-atx-desktop-chassis/PLID49263935) – R1,475

MSI Intel Z370 SLI Plus Motherboard - Socket LGA 1151 (https://www.takealot.com/msi-intel-z370-sli-plus-motherboard-socket-lga-1151/PLID47195891) - R2,999

Cooler Master Vanguard 850W ATX 12V V2.31 PSU Full Modular Cable Management (https://www.takealot.com/cooler-mas...su-full-modular-cable-management/PLID32714719) - R2,379

Cooler Master MasterLiquid Pro 240 CPU Cooler (https://www.takealot.com/cooler-master-masterliquid-pro-240-cpu-cooler/PLID43826954) - R1,669

Intel Core i7 8700K 3.7GHz Processor – Esquire – R7,999

This far I am planning to use 32GB DDR 4 Ram from my old box, if it is still alive after my motherboard went. I am also using my old 480GB SSD and 2 3TB HDDs, which I already confirmed are all still working.

This far the build set me back around R16,521.

Do you think this is a decent setup for perhaps even gaming at a later stage?

lo

Looking good.

Wait for the new AMD cards to come out before you decide on a GPU apparently they are going to rip Nvidia a new one

^^, depends on the resolution and frame rate Lew Skannen is going to be playing at. 60fps 1080p will be AMD territory in price-performance - higher resolutions and frame rates will belong to Nvidia.

Yeah for 1080p and even 1440p AMD will have a decent product cheaper than nvidia.

AMD is the current fps/$ king for 1080p gaming. Their 570/580 cards are cheaper than a 1060 6gb, hell the 570 is even cheaper than a 1050ti and much more powerful.

From all accounts it will be 2020 before Amd have anything to touch Nvidia at the top level.
They are the value kings but for the top performance there is no alternative to NV at the moment.

Lets hope Amd and Intel do start to compete, only way we will see NV prices drop.

i think the reality is that you also have more consumers in the lower end than in the top tier. Just my opinion.

Which is a win for AMD cos they are doing volumes. Intel wins at the top level but there are less high end PCs out there than budget and mid range rigs.

My son of 11 years want to start his own YouTube channel.

What desktop Cam and microphone would you guys recommend for him.

Budget is nothing more than R2 000 and where to buy.

I know it's a little bit late but looking at buying from Makro.

Thank chaps

Probably gonna be a logitec c922 but I'll get back to you later. Most webcams are kuk though. many youtubers use a certain panasonic camera but that will be above the budget i suspect.

@GAD just buy that ^, best webcam and that price is awesome as they retail for over R2k online if you can find one. If you can't find a C920 get a C922.

@Soul Assassin htf did you find that? I looked at makro and searched, nada got some other models. Anyways that's an awesome price!
I went on the Makro site and typed "webcam" in the search bar.
