Expect this thread to be flooded with me seeking advice on where and how get some of the games tbat I used to play (and newer ones of course) on my new system as I always stupidly just went and bought the physical copies:X3::crying:

Check out GOG for legit older (and new) games with drm removed and updated to run on win10. Otherwise go Steam.
For the non-legit see FitGirl Repacks.

Thanks man, now that PC must just come

Edit: How safe are the FitGirl Repacks?

They are fine, very handy if you have either limited HDD space or bandwidth. Just be warned the larger one's need a strong CPU and SSD otherwise it takes a LONG time to unpack.

I always end up preferring either GOG releases or FitGirl repacks whether I buy a game or not, on a 2mb line smaller is better.

Luckily I have a 50/50 fibre line so it'll be cool

my stuff from Wootware also arrived...just motherboard and CPU (will be re-using everything else from my current machine). Farewell 4 threads (6600k) - hello 12 (3600+Tomahawk Max).

After trying to convert the first of my blu-rays to x265, decided it was time.
