Just check out cooler performance on that card first to see if you're happy with it. Apparently they run a bit hot.
What is the optimal "heat" under load for these cards? Doubt will overclock as it seems pretty strong as standard unless it's recommended to overclock.

No idea what optimal would be, I just run my gpu at 65% fan speed with overclocks when gaming.

Seems fine,

Hi there

What do you think of this build? It's for Adobe (PS and Premiere Pro). And for some gaming. I have my own storage So that's not included. I made my budget 15k. So don't want to go over too much.

This comes to 15.5k

Thanks

I see they have only a 2 star review on Loot, there something wrong with the card?

That's nuts. The same card is 4600 at Wootware.
Yup wootware still had the r2600 at R3500 while takealot had it at R2700. I went for it on wootware though a week before :(

OK so looking to change my RAM (currently have 16GB - 4x4GB and wanting to change to 2x8GB and later add another 16GB).

I have decided on the G.Skill but need to know which to go for please:

G.Skill F4-3200C16D

or

G.Skill F4-3200C14D

There is over R1k price difference so just checking.

Currently running i7 6700 (I might upgrade this to Ryzen or a later Intel chip but only end of the year)

Get the cheaper ones, CL16 vs CL14 isn't going to be noticable in the real world.

Cheaper one and stick me for a beer with the savings.

So card arrived and installed. After running unigene benchmark the max temp hit 85 degrees - is that normal or too hot? Haven't changed any settings on card - just ran it standard.

Attached is benchmark too - is that also normal/correct?

The temps seem similar to the nvidia founders edition cards, bit hot. In msi afterburner set the fan speed to 65% an run the benchmark again noting the temps now.

The score seems normal.
