Consider a Pico4? Specs are equivalent to the Q3, and should be considerably cheaper. Esp if you're into PCVR rather than standalone.

Guys, I need a nice Tower PC case that can take four (or more) desktop hard drives...
It's for my media PC that's going to go under my TV.
Height is no issue. and Price is no issue.
I have all the guts, I just need the case.
The stupid case I bought can only fit one hard drive.
Please recommend me a case!!!!

little harder these days might have to go Laptop HDD's depending on the cases configuration.

OR bigger Drives for each thing.
err my SL600M takes 2X 3.5" in the front panel (yes vertically) and another on the rear where fans normally are (no fan as its a vertically cooled. thats 3 and the other bay i cant remember where but it takes 4 2.5" or 3.5 (fits both sizes)

I have the same black edition it comes with 2x 200mm fans at the bottom you can put large PSU's in and for the best config air wise buy a vertical kit (just the cable)

con on it is the fact its not a small tower

I have shared screen shots from the manual to be honest i think you can fit 5 to 6 drives in this bad boy considering the front panel can take two and the bottom by the fans (on top of the fans) can take 3 weird it states 4 on the specs eitherway have a check its a great case
**EDIT** oh thats if you take the plates to the bottom eitherway still decent 4 HDD's and can put 2SSD on the right side of the case.
Can use these which are thicker than usual 2.5" which i have one on my In-Win A3 case (HTPC) also on the right side fits snug doesnt touch the panel

my only complaint is i dont have a USB C port on my board for the F_Panel :p but does illuiminate at night when you plugging things in which is my new standard i mean cmon.
Easy to build in can add 2x 200mm fans on top OR 3X120mm like i do and my temps are great with a Aircooler even tho i cant rotate the aircooler my GPU fans only kick in when a game is running unsure if thats normal i dont usually look at fans on other PC's

I ran 2x 5TB Seagate 2.5" drives in my old In-Win Choppin. Shucked them from external casing.

This is my new favourite mATX case because of the small footprint. Can take a 3.5" drive in front.

More pics here. Wish I could keep it but I have bigger problems to deal with.

Bit late to the party.
But I got myself this recently because of a Media Server I want to build. And I intent to install a lot of HDDs, so needed something which will be able to handle it.

Check it out. I think it is amazing.

Fractal Define 7 (There are 3 models, so check which one can take all the disks)

If you need a mATX case on a tight budget - this cheap M-Link is excellent value for money.
Just not a big fan (pun intended) of the PSU with its 8cm fan, but that is easy to swap.

IMG_20240130_072545.jpg

It has a generous cutout on the back of the motherboard making cooler swaps a breeze. (pun intended).

Side panel fits only just - slight bulging - just the way she likes it.

Hi everyone.
I am looking at upgrading and getting a new PC. I will mostly use it for 1080p 60 FPSgaming.
I am upgrading from a Ryzen 5 2600, 16GB RAM with a RX 580 8GB.
I am leaning more towards AMD due to better Linux support.
Thus far I have this list from Wootware as it made it easy to build with the site. I have not followed hardware for a while so there may be better parts or options for better prices.

- ASUS PRIME B650M-K AMD B650 Ryzen Socket AM5 Micro-ATX Desktop Motherboard
- AMD 100-100000910WOF Ryzen 7 7800X3D 5.0GHz 8-Core Zen 4 Socket AM5 Desktop CPU
- Cooler Master RR-H412-20PK-R2 92mm Hyper H412R Air CPU Cooler
- Mushkin MRF5U600DDDM16GX2 Redline ST 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6000MHz CL36 1.35V Black Desktop Memory
- XFX Radeon RX 7700 XT SPEEDSTER QICK319 BLACK RX-77TQICKB9 12GB GDDR6 192-Bit PCIe 4.0 Desktop Graphics Card
- Super Flower SF-750F14HG(BK) Leadex III Gold 750W 80 Plus Gold Fully Modular Black Desktop Power Supply

Solid build. My one suggestion would be to try change the ram to CL32, they're about the same price.

Also maybe look at a slightly better cooler. Something like a DeepCool AK620 or Scythe Fuma 2.

Thank you for the suggestions. Will update my list.

Would it not be cheaper to drop a 5800X3D into your existing motherboard and get a new gpu?

Of course, if you're already on the AM4 platform, using an older Zen, Zen+ or Zen 2 CPU, upgrading to the 5800X3D is a logical choice. It's incredibly affordable at around $300 and offers a significant performance upgrade for gamers. You could pay $320 or less for the 5800X3D and slot it into your existing system, or spend nearly $700 to replace your motherboard, memory, and CPU with the 7800X3D combo. Given what the 5800X3D offers, we believe upgrading to this part is the most reasonable for existing AM4 owners, which is why the processor is wildly popular

The 5800 will do 1080p 60fps no problem into the forseeable future. Once it gets slow you can do a platform change.

My Ryzen 7 5700X is doing pretty well at 4K 60 don’t see more than 20% cpu usage on games besides cities skylines

I've been wanting a new keyboard for a while and now I see a decent special on for a Corsair K95 (silver switches) and SteelSeries Apex 7 (red switches, linear). Both are essentially the same price. I also considered a Razer but I'm lost in their portfolio and they seem 50% more expensive for a similar board (not on sale).

Any reason to pick one over the other? Currently on a 12 year old Logitech G510.
