I had a similar experience with a Sabrent NVME also bought from Wootware. They offered to replace it (under warranty), but I requested a refund that I offset against a Samsung NVME (never had issues with Samsung).

With winter coming this 4650G will be a welcome addition to the office. On its own it has not done much, but all of them together has me at 15th place in South Africa.

It's also why I had to fit that cooler. The stock Wraith Stealth would go over 95°C even with the case open. Now I can close the case and it hardly cracks 75°C running full tilt all day long.

Did a quick move with my pc last night to a fake 011 lol

Bought the case from takealot for R999.

Had a bunch of rgb fans spare that I could fit as the case doesn't come with any fans.

It's not bad for the price, but I see it is sold out now. The white one is R1300.

Anyone ever bought something from CME (Centurion Micro Electronics)? I just got two of these Biostar A10N motherboards from their clearance stock at R500 each, they normally sell on eBay for way more. They have a few embedded motherboards on sale.

Last one I imported from Germany with Aramex Global Shopper was the higher spec FX-9830P model but in the end the performance difference is hardly noticeable these days as they are both old Bulldozer based APUs.

This is the FX-9830P that sadly died in February....

Will soon be in the market for a new GPU, I have a GTX 1070, looking for something strong that i can keep for a long time to come, like i have the 1070.
The 4070 Super or RX 7900 GRE seem to be top teer in my budget.
Any advice ? It's been a long time since I looked at GPU's, I am looking at getting a high refresh rate 1440p 27" monitor in the future as well.

I am using 4070 super using 240hz 1440p, which can get 200 to 240fps in COD ultra settings with dlss on quality. Amd just lacks that ray tracing power currently.

4070 Ti Super is the only 4 series worth getting. Do NOT get the regular Super if you are going to keep the card for another 5 years like you have with your 1070.

The regular Super has only 12 GB of RAM but the Ti has 16.

Worth it for the extra, especially of you want to play with RTX on or have a 1440 or better monitor.

All the testing ive seen says that 16GB VRAM is the standard for newer games if you want to push them to the max and still hit 75+ FPS

Definitly can't afford the Ti nevermind the ti super.
The one's i linked are already using budget from other things.

In that case, wait and keep saving

The 1070 will carry you another year till the 5XXX series
