so i meant to buy when was R10 but was lazy to do the 15minutes of work then boom next week was 20 then 30. and im like fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. Got in but hoping this goes to like $7 or so.
 
so the question is hold till end of 2018 and hope for some random super magical number like $50 or $100 or wait till $8 or so (due to fact that at around $10 they eclipsing like everything).

Who can say about $8? Depends how many people rush in and join the frenzy.

But $50 or $100 just isn't possible, I suspect. With 39b tokens in circulation (100b are created), that would put market cap in the $2T-4T range. For perspective, the largest companies by market cap are still under $900b. Apple closed yesterday at $884b.

You should read more about XRP and how the market cap is not an issue. XRP gets burned during transactions, etc.

I'm also going to read about this a bit later.

Believe me, I've been reading, especially since my all-in with XRP in August. My first XRP buy was earlier, at $0.133, and the bulk buy was at $0.1553. Am quite gruntled at the mo.
 
when coinbase lists XRP, it surely will pass $50 and hopefully $100, coz the whales who are currently using coinbase will be pumping XRP and FYI some XRP gets destroyed during transactions.
 
If it surpasses $100, would you cash out?

HODLing some XRP as I believe this coin has some great potential :)

The entire altcoin market has a market cap of $500 billion right now.
A $100 XRP would put Ripple alone at a $3 trillion market cap.

That's more than three times the market cap of all altcoins right now. Then again...the altcoin market cap almost doubled overnight so who knows what's possible in 8 months. The numbers just seem a bit unlikely right now.

High coin supply so won't happen anytime soon. As Saor said above, market cap would mave to be 3trillion for ripple alone, total market cap somewhere around 30trillion at todays dominance. Going to be several years before that happens.
 
I'm struggling to get registered/verified at exchanges trading in ripple. Wish Luno got its act together and launched it, same with XAPO.

Also can't seem to find an app for altcointrader.co.za , but will probably have to use them as a last resort. All I wanna do is get some ripple traded and moved to my ledger, but I see they're charging like 20 ripple now just to create a trading address, seems unreasonably high given the jump in price.
