hmmm.. ok im a LOOOOOOONG way from red then.. thankfully i only bought 46 at R30.. predictions?
 
Hey guys. I ve got 21 XRP in my account and AltCoinTRader but my wallet says its not activated, Anybody has a contact from AltCoing?
 
Guys, this wild fluctuation is the way with crypto. It's nothing like the stock market where companies generally produce widgets/deliver services and have revenue streams and profits that affect prospects and hence share prices.

You either need to get out of crypto entirely, or learn to live with the swings. Just 12 days ago (on 4 Jan 2018) XRP was $3.049, up from $0.21 on 30 August 2017. Sentiment drives in speculative buyers, and the moment things ease off there's massive sell-off, driving things down. That's normal.

My advice: close your crypto app and forget about the prices for a few months. Wait until people start buying again, pushing up the price. Ripple have said they have a number of big announcements this year, and they're timing them carefully.

There's a risk here that XRP falls into a cycle - this looks like the second wave of that cycle forming if things continue to go down. Sometimes markets become so bound by their history that they determine the future, regardless of what the asset does. If that does happen - keep an eye out for the next wave up and catch it early, don't wait until you hear about it in the news.
