The Ripple (XRP) thread

I also invested a little bit in XRP just before the boom and cashed out a week ago or so. My problem now is I don't see any real value in XRP which will cause it to go up.

What value did you see before when you bought the first time?

I read up on the company and got the impression that banks are going to use Ripple in future as they have a few deals on the cards. Now with further investigation I've realized that XRP has nothing to do with those deals. If banks buy the technology they will implement their own currency that has nothing to do with XRP.

Its also not a decentralized currency so Ripple can control it to a certain degree.

Well R35k up and close to cashing out my initial investment seems to confirm I am living up to your assumptions. Congrats. Sigh...

Close to cashing out your initial investment doesn't mean you're R35k up? I agree with John that your behavior (or at least what you divulge here) indicates a gambler's mindset and it doesn't appear that you're at all conscious of the fact that you are actually losing money on these trades

Not to pour salt into DominionZA's wounds but I sure hope he sold before the 50% crash on LRC peak price from last night.

Looking at his last statement about "close to cashing out" I somehow suspect he held on and might be dumping at a loss again today in order to jump onto the next crapcoin pump that is sure to occur later tonight.

Nope. Bought 453 LRC. Traded as it swayed up and down and closed off at 650 LRC. Transfered into ETH and went to sleep. Woke up and watched ETH cruising up even more, and sold just before it hit 0.1 BTC. Waiting to buy in...

With the R/$ strengthening, it pushed out my close to cashing out. Either Zuma needs to do something stupid again, or I have to play this a little longer. I just want to double my investment, then pull the investment out.

yoh XRP dropped even further. Made a small amount on it. maybe will come back in around R10 or so if it comes there.
