The Ripple (XRP) thread

Perhaps BTC (and a few others) were created with that purpose in mind, but does a crypto have to fulfill those requirements, especially about being decentralized?

coarse not, each developer can do what ever they want I suppose, and thats why we get TITcoin and Trump coin.

Historically looking at the developers of BTC, who are largely anonymous, low key and comparing it to something like this: http://markets.businessinsider.com/...ris-larsen-worth-37-billion-2018-1-1012408621 makes me feel a bit uncomfortable I guess.

CMC just excluded Korea from the average price... dropped from $3,30 to $2,60 instantly and XRP moved back to #3 spot... hope this doesn’t start a panic sell.
I hope it does.... Hahaha
I wanna buy some more...under R20

Do yourselves a favour. Do not ever join the Ripple (XRP) group on Facebook. Only if you're prepared for a barrage of referral links in absolutely all the comments

But I guess this is what it's like in all the other crypto groups.

It's a much bigger problem with facebook,
Rather join twitter, slack, telegram, discord etc.

I'd rather not be in any groups. I might reconsider in future, but after a month in a XRP group, I've learnt absolutely fokol.

By the way, for those wondering about Ripple development, blockchain generally, and the dev challenges in payment systems, this presentation at CppCon 2016 by David Schwartz, Chief Cryptologist at Ripple, is worth a watch. Also dispels some FUD and misinformation about Ripple. Schwartz is not a dumbo.

Personally, I wouldn't be too surprised or spooked if XRP eased off to under $1 in the next few days/weeks. My hodl horizon has always been June 2018.

Most of the korean locked exchanges (only koreans can trade meaning the price have zero value to the rest of the world) will be getting a huge haircut in current weeks once they are all delisted from the coinmarketcap average price.

This inflated marketcap/coin value were the number one cause that made rest of world buy into the inflated prices. There is something very suspicious happening on the korean exchanges and I would suggest to anyone interested in buying any of the inflated priced coins trading at values of up to 50% higher on these korean exchanges to think twice before buying in thinking rest of world exchanges are about to catchup to the korean market price. This is a big reason for current bitcoin ups and downs in the same ranges over and over , someone is actively trying to create the illlusion that the rest of world exchanges are attempting to move up to the korean inflated prices.

In short there is some massive market manipulation pushed by the korean exchanges, stay away from any coin on coinmarketcap that is traded on korean exchanges and is not actively being excluded from the coinmarketcap average coin price.

You have been warned. ;)

luckily left XRP before dropped so much. waiting for drop little more to buy in again. On the other hand all the other stuff also seem to be down.

LRC having a great run at the mo. Few others also in the green, but not as much as LRC.
Dumped all my XRP at a loss and bought into LRC plus some others. Made up the losses plus some in the last few hours.

Only made up on the XRP losses if you sell within a profit and not sell LRC later on at a loss also in order to jump onto the next pump. ;)

This is all currently similar to casino antics, you havn't won sh#t until you cashed out and actually outside the casino with the money. haha

You being a tool on purpose or is it naturally built in?

Stating the facts. You seem to be jumping between one pump coin to another and then selling the one pumped coin at a loss to enter the next one.

Dont you realise it ? I figured I did you a favour to point it out, gamblers do tend to go blind once they are in too deep.

Sold xrp at a loss and you managed to gather all that info. You run with your facts then. Nothing to do with me.

Got all the info on your trading habbits based on XRP sold at a loss to jump onto the next joke coin LRC pump. Got it ? Good.

Im pretty sure you will get out of LRC at a loss when the next joke pump coin pops up. Its ok just as long as you learn from your mistakes or dont, I suppose it doesn't affect me aside from making funnies.

Please continue, I wont interrupt your sophiscated trading habbits. :)

Well R35k up and close to cashing out my initial investment seems to confirm I am living up to your assumptions. Congrats. Sigh...
