The Ripple (XRP) thread

Ripple is used for money transfers by so many exchages. Ie Visa, Moneygram both use XRP.

I got in at 0.001 originally. Ripple actually increased way above Bitcoin just it started at a much greater fraction.

Paid R10 000 sold for R121 million. Fantastic day yesterday :)
That is awesome, love hearing positive stories, gives me hope!

Question for those who have XRP at VALR
How do you interpret this statement:

The airdropped SPARK amount for each user holding XRP will be calculated as follows:
Amount of XRP held by a user (with at least 10 XRP) at the time of the snapshot / Total XRP held by VALR at the time of the snapshot * Total SPARK received by VALR for the airdrop
Is it not supposed to be 1:1

Sounds right. Say you have 100 xrp valr has 1000 in total. Valr receives 1000 spark. You hold 100/1000 x 1000 and receive 100

Ripple is positively Tanking.
F#_&!!!!

I got in under R3.90. tripled my money. Withdrew a bit.
The rest is headed to the bottom of the ocean now, after the announcement that platforms are ditching XRP.

Anyone on AltCoinTrader get their airdrop for Spark yet? I’ve seen nothing!

Why didn't you cashed out January 2018, when the price was like R35 per XRP?

Ripple has been working with the SEC for years and now all of a sudden they are concerned that XRP is a security... Find the timing to be quite interesting especially after XRP was starting to see a nice upward spike over the last few weeks.

I'm not worried, my hope is that either way this will this will push regulations quicker. Also, seen tons of new companies taking on XRP in the last week and huge whale alerts still over the last two days

..and no hassles using AltCoinTrader as the exchange? Or should I be looking to transfer to Luno instead?

Are those screenshots exits or entries into ripple?

Crikey ,i shoulda listened... Xrp is tanking!!

Lost a bottle of ricky already lolol!

insane amount of XRP going to an exchange that says they will delist it in 12 days time o_O
It's settled nicely over the past 48. I got in quite early, then did some more panic buying later on, when i should've waited until the wall builder left the oval office to sit on some more bargains.

I've been following some of the hype on Twitter, but have given up on the telegram threads as they are about as orderly and cohesive as a black Friday special at Makro. I can't make out half the kukk those guys are trying to say," cryptically" , and a days exit might leave you at night with over 2000 messages to try and soft through for that subliminal "signal".

Daftt.

I'm sorry to say, but i think i have empty eye fever about Cripple, much like it's believers.
A lot of the info pumping it comes out of a handful of influencers , and "Moon when?" Seems to be the catch phrase. Willing it up.

Nothing seems to be based on fact. Seemingly, if i look behind my bedroom door, stare at a spot on the ceiling, and then immediately look out the window with my head cocked at an angle, I'm going to be on the forefront of finding the next sign for movement or mooning. Absurd.

If it does at least I'm sitting on enough to be able to halve, cash out and stick in for their outlandish predictions, but while Eth has , somehow my gut tells me it will be a long while still before Cripple does the same if anything even remotely close to it's cousins.

If banking were to adopt it over all other as an intermediary platform over, say Eth, I'm sure we could be in for an interesting phase but until such time : I'm as undecided about it as everyone else.

Coulda shoulda woulda.

Bloody Bitcoin. Bloody bloody.... Lol.

...so, recommendations to invest in an alternative? I have like 160 (bought and sold along the way) and while it doesn't mean much I'd like to sell and invest in something else.
Will XRP become null and void eventually?
