I thought he could have been sent back to the Sharks, but then I saw Etsebeth on the bench for Wales game.

Technically we have finished our northern hemisphere tour. The wales game is a “friendly “ so if your club / provincial team needs you then you head back due the game falling outside the official international window.

So the Sharks are in need of Williams then he has to go. Same for Andre, Ethan and Eben are not needed for the sharks games as they have ample players to fill those spots for their URC match.

Besides Siya and Eben hardly play provincial level now. They are way past that level.

Duane on standby to play Wales

Rassie Erasmus’ famed ‘Nuke Squad’ returns in Cardiff on Saturday, with an explosive 7-1 bench split he hopes will bury Wales and seal a perfect year-end tour.

“I don’t think we planned at the beginning of the year to go 7-1 against them,” Erasmus said. “These are actually just the only guys available after discussions with the franchises, and it was almost forced on us.


“Player 24 is Tuks [Ntuthuko Mchunu] and player 25 is Duane Vermeulen. So it was a case of one injury, Tuks is in and another injury, Duane is in.”

We’ve got a whole lot of players who can cover multiple positions for us,” Erasmus said. “Cobus will cover on the wing. Kwagga [Smith] covers nine on defence if we lose two backs to injury and on attack he’ll go onto the blind wing. Then we also have Ben-Jason [Dixon] who’s on standby should we get a third injury in the backline.”

I don’t think we will lose, even without Marx that bulls front row is a ****ing machine.

As long as we stay low in the tackles and Sacha doesn’t pull a Leb shoulder tackle we “ should be fine “
 
That 7s game by the Blitz boks was a bit too tight. Fiji next.
