Not the greatest performance by the Junior Boks, but did enough to win the Championship. Match drawn.
I see the Junior Wannabee Maoris were there as well 🤮

On another note, what is wrong with our mauling. Our mauls are getting stopped instantly. Is there some new law change I dont know of.

His attitude defines him. He's a good player, but you never know when he's going to have a brain fart.

I'd pick Hanekom, Wiese, Horn, Smith and even Kolisi above him.

Its been alot more than just one match against Ulster, be honest, take the blinkers off. Yes, he's had some great games, but he regularly lets himself and team down, this weekend not a once off this season.

Yes, his buttons are easily pressed but that's a part of his temperament he's been working on. Ulster was a lack of rugby IQ, not Evan being baited into a fight.

How many yellow cards this season? How many tries this season? How many player of the match awards this season?
 
A lack of rugby IQ.... and somehow that's not a problem? If he can't keep it together at club lvl, he certainly wont keep it together at test lvl where stakes, pressure and all that much higher.

Take the blinkers off.

Greatly improved discipline, yet still penalties conceded still one of the highest in the league, and over 1 a game, and 23 turnovers conceded and more issues.

Yes, he does alot of good things on the field, but he undoes his own hard work far too regularly every game and as you pointed out... More issues than simply easy to rile up, rugby IQ issues too, your own post.

Bulls and Sharks were spectacular in their wins. Unfortunately the gulf in class between Leinster and the Lions were there for all to see. Lions did well to hold them for 60+ minutes but lost focus in the last 15. Lions never looked liked breaching the Nienaber defense and made too many handling errors. They gotta get a win against Munster or it tickets for a semi spot.

Sharks were frustrating in some ways. Why only turn it on now when things don't matter anymore.

Edit: That there is a chance for Bulls to actually finish as top SA team on the log, 3rd, with Stormers potentially 4th on tiebreakers, is something else. They certainly recovered from their poor start, thought one would expect Stormers to get the job done against Cardiff.

SA season been quite a mixed bag hasn't it.

I missed the game so I have only seen highlights. I seems the All Black came back in the second half, even while being a man down for a lot of it. Why the fall off? It seems a problem with the baby Boks - same thing happend in the fitst game versus Australia ( I think).

The fieriness of youth, tried to many funky things. Lost there talisman Ethan Adams pretty early. That guy would have done a lot of damage. Also they needed just 1 point to win the championship, so I guess when they got to 4 tries they lost focus.

8 Cameron Hanekom: Comfortably the Bulls’ best carrier, making ground at both close quarters and in the wider channels. Hanekom also did his bit in defence, competing well in contact and around the breakdown to suggest he is getting back to his best after a lengthy absence through injury. Was absolutely superb on Saturday. 9/10

Rugby IQ is lacking in many of our top players. Wiese headbutt against Italy, Eben's eye gouging incident. There many examples. Luckily it isn't a prerequisite for Bok selection.

Many have speculated on why Rassie doesn't pick Evan.

The most plausible reason: There various areas of his game that are weak and need improvement.
And rumour: Evan's father is heavily involved in his career, to the point where he injects himself into the team environment. Which is obviously quite an unhealthy scenario
