And Angus Gardener... Eish.. he can be pedantic at times. Stickler for the laws. Having said that he had a terrible test, Tina v Eng. It was a tough test to blow, with emotions running high between both sides but he made a match deciding call at the death there, many thought was the wrong one.

I thought he was okay Lions v AB..

SA have won the last 5 games Angus has refed though. So there's that. SA were 7 from 7 with Matthew Carley until last weekend. Just saying...

Yeah. I'm not devastated by the late change.

Kolbe back to do the goal kicking which is primarily why Pollard was named in the starting xv to start with. Goal kicking and his tactical kicking too. We lose on that front.

Cobus and Sacha starting, a more familiar 9/10 combo.

I was saying to cavedog, Sacha's form has been somewhat flaky of late and he had a bit of a stinker last weekend but the thing about sport, form can swing week to week so, don't be surprised if he's Motm tomorrow. One thing he doesn't lack is self belief. He's also played all his rugby in the cape so well suited to whatever weather conditions present.

I like our bench.

Good balance of power and experience. Need an incident free shift from Lood. A lot of pain coming off the Bok bench, especially if we find ourselves up after 50 minutes.

Anyway, I was relatively confident of a Bok win last weekend. We failed quite epically. I'm trying to go into this test without any preconceived notions of what result to expect. Does that even make sense?

In fact, let's do the jinx, NZ by 9...

Well I'll pick Manie above Sasha any day. But Sasha "poor game" was maybe helped by Williams's slow ball.
 
Rennie is a problem, he's giving Saffa's heartburn... Proper coach, with a good record against Rassie's Boks. That hard edge he demands of his forwards goes a long way to defusing what is historically a Bok strength.

I forgot to check the wind on the forecast.

Says here 5 m/s... so, that could be interesting. Especially when the ball reaches a certain height.

Maybe the high kicks become more of a 50:50.

I thought the same but then I saw that Rennie's 80% win record only goes back 5 games.

I may have fallen for some hype, in Rennie's favour.
