The only thing that will cost us this game if we don't win will be terrible tactics from the coaches. The players are class, and we should walk it.

All will be forgiven if they perform in the world cup, which is Nienaber is working towards. Much of it is a mental game, personally I think it becomes more difficult to keep on winning the longer your streak is. So if we lose and come down to earth its fine. Based on the prior world cup I think the losses helped us perform better.
World cups are decided largely by the luck of the draw.

The Boks will most likely face either NZ or France in the 1/4 finals. That's a far cry from Japan in 2019. We also find ourselves in a pool with Ireland and Scotland.

This idea that we should destroy Wales has got to stop. They are a seriously good side. Their loss to Italy and the poor URC showing from their franchise teams should not blind us to that. Look at the results from 2010 between the two teams

You have to go back to 2014 to find the last time one team won with any conviction. The rest of the time, there has been less than a converted try separating them. This Saturday is going to be no different.

It's a situation created by our gameplan which they happen to counter very well. New Zealand don't have the same problem with Wales and we shouldn't either given our talent pool. But yeah you are right to say we find them very difficult and expecting easy games against them ignores the evidence of the last 10 years. With that being said we had to do a lot very wrong ourselves to lose the last two games.

We have a similar problem with Australia which is completely fixable if we would just learn to use our backline.

I think their gameplan maybe counter's ours because their gameplan is the same. Which seems to be the best way to counter our game plan. Maybe they tweeked theirs a bit, but the kicking and territory game seems to be the very similar. Kick the ball, put other team under pressure to make errors. The one thing they can't mimic though is our scrum strength.

I feel that as soon as our game plan is matched, then we have no alternative. We just keep on doing the same thing. Our players also need to learn to run into space rather than take the crashball straight into the defence every time.
