Add to that the lack of a goal kicker.It's the draw from hell that makes me a non-believer.. Even our pool is one from hell. Tonga have 8 former all blacks eligible for selection under the new world rugby directives. They unlikely to beat us but it's another tough fixture we must navigate. Romania are the only soft touch in the pool stages...
So if we make it out of the pool stages we face either NZ or France in the quarters!!
The Scots fancy their chances of progressing. They'll need to beat us or Ireland for that to happen... but the point is they coming in amped!!
Manie is simply too inconsistent to be taken seriously and Pollard is a doubtful starter.
Our game plan in 2019 was grind upfront, milk the penalties, kick the kickables. We can't do that in 2023.
You can see our game plan is evolving, to a more expansive one, but we still quite some way off the best in the world...
