Yea, I dont know what they offered Eddie to take that job. With the players they currently have, there'd no way in hell that they can win the cup. On a good day they can be competitive like the last New Zeeland game showed, but a "competitive" showing is the best they can hope for. On a bad day a number of teams are going to blow them away.
You obviously missed Eddie saying they'll win the thing just a couple of days ago.

I don't take much of what Eddie says seriously, he is after all the master at them "mind games". He must try and convince his own players that they have a chance!
I honestly can't think of any current Aussie player that I would pick in any best of the World team, not even if I have to pick two teams.

Wild amateurish game with plenty of handling errors. I want better from Georgia

Georgia looking much better in t 2nd half. 3 tries in 8min. Cricket score incoming.

I'm thinking these two teams have zero hope for the WC if they're playing like this
They on the right side of the draw so will likely progress to at least the quarters... then Argentina and Australia respectively...

The top 5 ranked teams are all on the other side of the draw... World rugby f ucked the draw up royally. 3 of the Top 5 ranked sides will be out by the semi finals (either Scotland, Ireland, South Africa, NZ or France)

Imagine getting red carded in a warm up match now?

And this ref is very card happy....
