Looks like the Patriotic Alliance coalition with the ANC continues to harm them, they will be dead in 2024.
They'll will spin it somehow to justify it when the campaigning starts. Politicians are expert liars...

(Pink) Floyd Shivambu's take on the energy crisis - a big, fat NOPE from me regarding nuclear power.

Because I do not trust the politicians. Because they will meddle in that, and cause unintended consequences, and we'll then have a possible chernobyl on our hands.

Because they will try to do cadre deployment and BEE-this and BBBEEE-that just to enrich themselves and give fckall care and attention to the procurement process etc, and we'll end up in a worse situation, most possibly with sub-par materials and equipment.

Look at what happened to Medupi and Kusile. Now what guarantee do we have that a nuclear deal will not have the same issues that plagues these two coal-fired stations with far more serious consequences?

Nuclear is good. ANC/EFF-sourced nuclear is bad...

Ok at this point, IFP/DA coalition is confirmed in KZN for 2024.

I would say its a given tbh...

And I would also think at this point, there is a non-zero chance that the coalition actually end up in control of the Provincial Legislature.

It will be interesting to see how many provinces (if any) do fall out of ANC control next year.

Yeah. It depends on how well DA and IFP do in KZN. I mean if IFP strikes 35% and DA 15%, they can govern alone, anything other than that, then they'll have to rope in other UF partners.

Definitely GP and KZN. We'll have to see what happens elsewhere. Regardless of what happens to DA WC vote share, the UF will keep WC at least.

I can hope that KZN is a definite, but I'm not entirely sold just yet...
GP I think is pretty much a given though.

At the rate at which IFP is beating back ANC KZN (with or without DA assistance), I would say ANC will definitely lose the KZN majority.

But a problem that can arise is that ANC and EFF could coalesce there... (and elsewhere)

Yup. The problem is which coalition will win?

UF or ANC/EFF/PA/etc?

Who are their UF partners in KZN? Freedom Front, ACDP, COPE and UDM are non existent over there.
