There are parties that could get a seat or two in KZN, those parties are not BOSA or RISE. KZN is a unique province and your politics must be aligned and suited specifically to that province. Those guys as well, except UDM I'm not so sure where they stand.
Maybe BOSA and RISE could get a seat or two...
I think the agreement with the IFP is probably along the lines of "you run KZN with our help, if you help us run the other provinces"...Who are their UF partners in KZN? Freedom Front, ACDP, COPE and UDM are non existent over there.

Yeah, I just think they won't get enough votes between the two of them, that's why I was wondering who are their UF partners, since their partners I the other provinces are nowhere to be found in KZN.I think the agreement with the IFP is probably along the lines of "you run KZN with our help, if you help us run the other provinces"...
Well, rest assured neither IFP or DA will work with EFF, so...Yeah, I just think they won't get enough votes between the two of them, that's why I was wondering who are their UF partners, since their partners I the other provinces are nowhere to be found in KZN.
Who are the other players in KZN, apart from ANC/EFF/NFP? Is Minority Front still a thing? If it is then the charous could be a likely partner...
From the 2019 electionsWho are the other players in KZN, apart from ANC/EFF/NFP? Is Minority Front still a thing? If it is then the charous could be a likely partner...
And that is not a photoshop.
Most probably the DA, which kind of defeats the purpose. From the 2019 elections
The players are largely :
ANC
DA
IFP
EFF
NFP
Minority Front
ATM
ACDP
I think ASA might sneak in this time around, but I'm not sure at the expense of which existing player.
Agreed. Separate presidential elections are the way. A two-round system would work best instead of a winner-take-all.
Most probably the DA, which kind of defeats the purpose.
Also, if you're in favour of a directly elected President, are you in favour of Parliament losing it's vote of no confidence power?
No. Parliament should be able to hold the President accountable (at least in theory, because that's not possible atm).Parliament can currently vote out the President as he draws authority from Parliament. If popularly elected Parliament would not be the source of power and would logically have to give up it's no confidence (but not impeachment) power.

I'd say MF and NFP would fall away post-2024. ATM might hold on with a seat or two. From the 2019 elections
