The SA Politics Thread Part 3

I disagree.

Yeah, more because of the way they approach things in a new way, they might bring more undecided/abstainer voters into the system at the very least with something new.

Perhaps they'll help bring more people into the system and they'll eventually support other parties as well (hopefully UF-minded parties).

And it does seem that's what the UF (at least DA and ASA) are trying to do regarding trying to bring back those voters (especially young/first-timers) to the table as well.

What makes NFP that special then?

I disagree. I think it would be the other way around. At best NFP, will lose their Parly seats and cling on to 1 seat in KZN Parly in 2024.
What makes them special is that they are KZN party, the same thing that makes IFP special, to make it even more special compared to all the mushrooming KZN parties is that it was not founded by a disgruntled ANC tenderpreneur.

Well, going by the looting the DA did in Tshwane, maybe the EFF actually have valid reasons.
So storming the Tshwane municipal offices is a good thing according to you? LMAO

Lemme guess you feel the same about the EFF storming the stage in SONA?

Again, just LMAO...

It can't be looting, it's "nuanced".

Nah, it 100% could be looting, but it could also be a few other things...

Or, wait for it, it could be multiple things including looting on the part of different political parties, some of whom are in charge now and some who aren't anymore.

Describing critics as “merchants of despair” and talking of their “dishonest and self-serving rhetoric”, Ramaphosa said: “They have determined that their political fortunes are best served by depicting a country in chaos — instead of being parties that acknowledge the challenges and that are determined to work together to find solutions so that we leave no one behind.”
This frustrates me. For the past 30 years, the ANC has done pretty much what they like regardless if other parties come up with solutions or not. Refusing to listen to anyone else.

What is disingenuous is now after ANC has practically destroyed everything, now everyone must work together and find a solution...

That's how they operate. **** everything up. Then when it's all ****ed up suddenly we all need to work together to fix it. Seen it happening on a local level

Its the standard kick the can down the road bollocks from the ANC... everyone must work together.

Listen up Cyril, everyone WANTS to work together to fix this fsck up and make everything better, but you fscktards constantly get in the way with your stupid retarded bullshyte and rent seeking crap. Get the fsck out of the way and let the people actually do what is needed.

Last November, Amad, along with African National Congress (ANC) and Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) councillors, successfully voted down a motion tabled by the Democratic Alliance (DA)-led multi-party coalition for the City of Joburg to borrow two billion rand from the Development Bank of South Africa.

Four months later, Thapelo said that his coalition, which includes the ANC and EFF, would be bringing a motion to borrow money from the bank.
Why did you strike it down in the first place???????

Yup, and it's infuriating to see. I wonder sometimes if the ANC lives in an alternate realm between elections...

Maybe it's time for the ANC to... step aside... :sneaky:

Like I said, "nuanced."
