The SA Politics Thread Part 3

LMAO. I post articles related to what's happening in politics, the DA is part of our politics, no matter how much it breaks your heart (I know the mere mentioning of the DA brings back the memories from the "Pappas bully" incident of yours :crying:).

I don't just post DA-related articles as you insinuate. Funny, how you fixate on my DA posting alone...
What's the Pappas Bully episode? Sounds like something that needs to be shared.

@DentistGuy Claimed that Pappas bullied him long ago, and when prompted he deflected...

He can't control his temper online.
Come now, make a claim like that and don't show any examples is just poor form.

I mean, I'm gonna have to have a word with Chris if he is a bit short tempered but I do need to give him examples to help re-educate the little rapscallion.
I personally had an argument online with him on FB before he was mayor. Without going into details of what was said and what it was about- you can have disagreements and have different political views to other people- without getting personal and insulting someone.
Ahhh so "He has a temper problem, but I won't tell you anything about the situation that makes me say that".

Yeah, colour us not entirely believing it since you have a little chip on your shoulder when it comes to the DA.

TBF it's schit like this that gets people worked up.

It's not a DA-led coalition. It's just a coalition where the DA is in the majority. By emphasising "DA-led" every time, it undermines the importance of the other parties and that's one of the reasons they're always in conflict.

Just stick to calling it a coalition, everyone knows you're in the majority, but it's unnecessary to constantly whip out your dick and pull rank...

I hope I'm not misunderstanding you here, but it is the media reports it that way. Not Cilliers or whoever.

It's the media that mentions "DA-led" most of the time instead of the official "Multi-Party Coalition" that the UF uses.

That's true now, but the narrative started with the DA itself back in 2016 when coalitions became a thing.

The DA may have eased off on calling themselves leader due to the other parties complaining, but the narrative continues and they're not exactly doing anything to change it...

True, the DA led coalition thing is not a media creation. It works well though when things are going well, it starts getting uncomfortable when things like Tshwane happen. I don't mind them boasting about being the leader of the coalition but they need to accept they are still the leader when the AG slaps them with and adverse audit.
