They'd be called flip floppers if they joined a party other than the DA. We saw how Hersov went from hero to flip flopper when he became critical of the DA.
Flip flopping isn't necessarily the problem. The DA should just not give flip floppers any important positions. They can just be a regular party member, not even a counselor.

Like any party, they are willing to accept flip-floppers provided that flip-flopper can give them some support. This was why they tried to recruit Dalinyebo some years back.

I doubt they really bring support with them.

We must be setting new records here.

CoJ residents suffer, whilst parties play musical chairs.
After eternal wait of at least 4 years, Harry Galaun road in Midrand was resurfaced last week.

Show can go on really, mayor or not.

Or they can focus all their efforts on Tshwane and try to fix their mess there so that they have something to point to when they criticize the JHB government?
They still have the ANC legacy mess to sort out (fortunately shouldn't take more than two generations) before they start fixing their own mess. FIFO principles.

The real circus is what follows, with the DA refusing to vote with the PA.

Honestly there needs to be some mechanism in the constitution that will force new elections...
What would you recommend? Maybe something like if there have been x mayors in y amount of time, an election is triggered?
