Hard to say but I'd think they probably bring in some support from the suburbs they are from. DA would not have made it known to the media if they were just nobodies.

The real circus is what follows, with the DA refusing to vote with the PA.

Honestly there needs to be some mechanism in the constitution that will force new elections...

What would you recommend? Maybe something like if there have been x mayors in y amount of time, an election is triggered?
