Has Ramaposer never had to make a hasty retreat, he has from angry Zuma supporters to union gatherings to May day speeches. Hammanskraal is a flash point, the Tshwane Mayor received a hostile reception egged on by ANC instigators no doubt so anything else will inflame it. By the time Ramaposer's publicity stunt visit where he added no value counting the "boil water" the Tshwane gvt and National gvt had already mapped a plan.

Strange how the first province with feet on the ground after floods was the WC run by the DA, other's came slinking in after. Cant have the DA looking like the good guys now.

When Mashaba was mayor he was chased out of Alexandra by an angry mob, parachuting a DA leader in would only have inflamed the situation then, this was the same protest where Ramaposer promised 1 million houses in 5 years. tick tock 5 years is almost up.

JUST IN | Parliament passes controversial NHI Bill
The National Assembly has passed the controversial National Health Insurance (NHI) Bill paving the way for “universal healthcare” in South Africa.
On Tuesday, 205 MPs voted in favour of the NHI Bill while 125 voted against it.
All 200 ANC MPs voted in favour of the Bill. The DA’s 71 MPs voted against the Bill. None of the lawmakers abstained from voting.
The NHI Bill proposes a withering away of medical schemes over time as they will not be allowed to insure or reimburse members for services offered by the NHI.
Now that it is passed, the NHI Bill must be processed by the National Council of Provinces. This will involve provincial public hearings.

They will submit FOKOL™

All they have to do is to submit that which is not implicating anyone. Otherwise, they can simply claim that everything else, that which the DA seeks, didn’t adhere to strict policy and best practices. It happens, communications and documents get lost or destroyed all the time.

I won't be surprised that the DA will receive records, but will there be admissible records? I predict an exhaustive discovery process leading to nothing. The current ANC administration will not be harmed.

It is not up to the courts to determine how accurate these records must be; it is all internal ANC use.

It’s quite sad that you have citizens going to war with a government that keeps trying to implement policies that will destroy the country.

And then still gets the largest vote share. Doesn’t seem to be much logic behind it.

Clearly because those citizens are a minority, the logic checks out just fine.
