No, I dont "blindly" believe that. I have actual experience that unlike all ANC governments (local, provincial or national), the primary consideration of DA governments is not how to steal as much as possible so everyone can "eat a little".

I do understand that it will be difficult, however, as international trade agreements are done between countries. However, Americans are an innovative and creative lot so they might be open to creating a carve out for the WC.

Nah, it's just for some odd reason the minority think they are the Boss of this country, they think they can tell us who to be friends with, what to do and what policies to follow, and they act all surprised when the majority flexes their muscles and tell them to get lost.

The majority want equality and the NHI will bring about some of that equality. The masses will feel equal when they can line up with the uppity middle class in the same hospital lines from 3am so they can get a bit of allergex for their diabetes or cancer cause that is all the clinic has on hand.

After a two-week break of by-elections, we have three this week, with all three, unfortunately, looking like ANC holds. Kou-Kamma isn't the biggest ANC stronghold in the EC and its neighboring municipality is Kouga (Jefferies Bay) which has been under DA control since 2016. However, as there were hopes that Emfuleni - the neighbouring municipality to DA-run Midvaal in Gauteng - might fall to a DA-led coalition in 2021, there was probably hope that the ANC decreases in Kou Kamma would be bigger, but this did not happen. The DA also experienced a mini-collapse in Kou Kamma, going from 42 percent in 2016 to 26 percent in 2021, mainly due to the new presence of the gangster party (PA) on the ballot.

We've seen bigger swings to the IFP than the ones required for the IFP to take the ward off the ANC, however, the presence of the ABC party is likely to complicate this and allow the ANC to win due to a split vote.
