Shaun August is no stranger to dodgy procurement deals, he was found guilty for the same thing at DA and later left for Good, now he is found guilty of the same thing at Good and going back to the DA.

There's also an interview with Julius where he laughably claims the EFF will be the second biggest party in 2024 as the DA is only polling around 12-14% according to an IPSOS survey he cites, lol. He also says he won't go into coalition as long as Ramaphosa is head of the ANC but he likes Paul Mashatile.

Yeah, I just gave it a quick browse. The one moment he says they don't mind working with DA, but the next he lays into Steenhuisen (maybe he has a preference like with ANC?)...

Was funny. Also, makes sense that he wouldn't cite the SRF polls...

**** everyone was expecting for the longest time.
 
This is all politicking, there is no reason why a case for something that happened in 2012 is suddenly opened in 2023 when the guy becomes a Mayor.

He ran a non compliant funeral business, which is not the worst thing that can happen, I don't know if that makes him ineligible to be a mayor, if it does he would probably be removed.

But he is right, his failed business is being used to get him, the people who he allegedly defrauded knew who he is all along, he was always working in Johannesburg as a councillor, the fact that the first case about that is opened now show that there is political persuasion.
