Ok, now you're just trolling.Who is William Gumede?
Is he living in the past?
Sorry, hadn't had my coffee yet.Ok, now you're just trolling.
He further congratulated Emfuleni, saying it was the only municipality that did not owe Eskom money.
That's would be a very odd way of looking at it.![]()

Looks like EWN could have their wires crossed, it's Midvaal that was being commended. Although I have never understood how Emfuleni, Midvaal and Sedibeng works, it should be one massive municipality, or even a metro, they are way better that Mangaung.![]()

Lesufi said Emfuleni is giving him sleepless nights because it was him who had to negotiate on behalf of the municipality when Eskom attached its bank account for failure to present a plan on how it will settle debt.
He commended the Midvaal municipality, the only one in the province that does not owe Eskom a cent, but is instead owed by the power utility.
“If we can’t fix our municipalities, we can’t fix the problem of electricity in Gauteng,” Lesufi told delegates.
Umm No, but expected. Combined the ANC will take control and relegate the DA who are doing sterling job to opposition.Looks like EWN could have their wires crossed, it's Midvaal that was being commended. Gauteng premier Panyaza Lesufi has called on municipalities in the province to sort out their affairs on Eskom debt and billing crisis forsundayworld.co.za
Kinda expected him to be it. He is DA FS leader after all...
The goal in all provinces is to bring ANC vote share down nationally. But most likely the EFF will be the biggest winner in those provinces, which isn't good either...Unfortunately, I have FS as one of the provinces which are lost causes to the opposition. Along with NW, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and EC. The only realistic goal here is to keep the ANC under 55.0 percent in the province
