I still can't believe the amount of people who rushed to the taxis' defence tho... With reasonable explanations like Apartheid spatial planning.

The Daily Maverick used a person who describes herself as a political analyst to bash the DA but when I went to her website, she is one of these "diversity workshop" grifters who like to say how evil white people are etc. She claimed (laughably) the ANC was not using this to score political points and that the DA needs to "take into account how it talks about black people" or some BS like that.

I think that is a bit unfair. They did good work with the Gupta Leaks, set in motion the firing of the incompetent UCT VC and I think (speak under correction) broke the Lady R story.

It's just some of their anti-DA stuff is a bit nauseating, like when Rebecca Davis complained that the DA mayoral candidate in 2021 was white.

A bit? That's exactly what I'm talking about. Media outlets are just propaganda opinion piece channels now.

Sure, but in the end the choice is binary. Basically what coalition of parties you back.

Blue - Constitutionalists led by DA
Red - Far Left Populists led by EFF

In this model, does the EFF lead the ANC? Is there no space for any other grouping?

The DA sees themselves as a leader of everything that's not ANC or EFF, that is the same attitude they are approaching the Moonshot with, then they wonder why other parties tell them to get lost.

Well yes, as the 2nd biggest political party (by quite a distance) since 1999, don't you think the DA has earned this leadership role?

I.e. atm it is Constitutionalists, Far Left Populists and the ANC...

The ANC is on it's way out and will eventually split itself into either of these groupings...
