Yawn.

Never heard of her. Don't worry, we will get the usual media hit pieces saying that the DA lost someone valuable and it shows that black people do not fell comfortable within the DA etc.

Yup, I'm absolutely ecstatic about them...
Gogo's comment on this is pretty funny tho:
Zille did not take kindly to Tarabella-Marchesi's comments, saying:

People like her want to make a splash when they make their next political move and use me as click-bait. As far as I can recall, I do not think that I ever had any interaction with her. She was in Parliament. I am based at the DA's federal head office.

The DA want to leave themselves weasel room,
The DA wants the declaration to read:

Should the pact be in a position to form a government, nationally or in any province after the 2024 election, every member of the pact commits itself to remaining loyal to the pact and not forming a government with the ANC or the EFF.
He told News24 that the DA was willing to commit to the multiparty coalition formation if the combined political pact clinches 51%.

"Not only has the DA committed to signing the declaration but advanced the wording of it. It is a door that is not already open; it is a door that has been walked into significantly already. The notion that the DA has been dragged kicking and screaming through the water is simply not true," Steenhuisen said.
