Saw this posted on LinkedIn, worth consideration for all those hailing De Ruyter a hero.

"What did he do to be called a hero? Babita Deokaran was a hero. De Ruyter has been at Eskom since December 2019, he only gives a cryptic interview months after he resigned. NOW, we must treat Ruyter like a hero, what did he achieve while at Eskom? How many cases did he open, and how many corrupt individuals were fired?"

So, out with Sisulu and NDZ. Is Cyril going to be labelled misogynist with this move, if it happens ?
Ramaphosa met with Cosatu and the SACP over the weekend, and News24 understands that the alliance partners were clear that he needed to fire ministers who have publicly disagreed with him.

The alliance partners said that the ministers' public disagreements would taint the ANC's image ahead of the national elections.

Minister Lindiwe Sisulu and Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma are two members of Ramaphosa's Cabinet who have disagreed with him in public.
