A reshuffle is imminent.
Doubtful it will be much.. I fully expect lindiwe and gwede to not be shuffled out anymore. Cyril is too much of a spineless 'party first' 'party unity' fsck wit to actually make the hard calls that need to be made.

Hopefully he can clean the DA mess and recoup some of the looted billions.
I love it, I listened to the guy last week, COPE has some really smart people, both Lekota and Madisha are no longer compatible, if only they were gracious enough to step aside.

Well done to him for outsmarting the DA, they were still planning to bring a motion of no confidence against him.

Someone spare a thought for Cilliers Brink, he just resigned from being an MP to being a councillor in the hope that he was going to be mayor.

The election of Makwarela stunned some present in the council chambers. Heading into the meeting, the DA and its coalition partners - the ACDP, Freedom Front Plus, Cope and ActionSA - were confident of winning a majority.

Makwarela’s election victory means he received support from the ANC, EFF and smaller opposition political parties as well as some votes from the DA’s own coalition partners.

It's clear COPE is well and truly out of the UF coalition. Whether they took a decision at the top or every COPE member is just a free agent doesn't really matter. The UF needs to issue a statement kicking them out.

COPE has fcked over a lot of people by turning to the dark side. I wonder how ASA is going to spin this as the DA's fault
