I don't necessarily think the DA have a fundamental problem with cyril other than his inaction and party before country, so there would be no benefit to them to ask for his removal anyway.

The bottom line in this election is still the fact that the ANC is failing to get their supporters to go out and vote, they probably think they are punishing it but all they do is to open the door wide for the MK. Their disgruntled voters are still there, they did note vote for the DA, they did not vote for the EFF, they abstained.

My feeling is that the majority of the country is sober enough to see Zuma for what he is, so he is still by and large, MK is stil by and large a KZN party as the results show, so I don't think people will fall for whatever he is selling, but not voting is equivalent to evil triumphing when good men do nothing.

In my opinion, ANC's vote share remains same as in 1994, i.e. 62%. Reason is ANC, MK and EFF are nothing but ANC factions. Reason why people voted for factions could be attributed to anti-incumbency and a desire to teach original ANC a lesson - they are likely to come back to ANC if lessons are learnt.

DA vote share basically remained same as 2019 so they didn't get more black votes this time as John famously claimed recently. [No doubt Mmusi is to blame here. /s ]

They did get more black votes, because whites emigrate at a much higher rate. And there's no doubt who they were likely voting for.

Ubaba Zuma had the most passive aggressive speech ever at the IEC center :ROFL: He's basically threatening to unleash violence if they announce the results today. All about that thugliFe:cool::cool:
