This may very well be true but as the poster you responded to alludes to it's about perception. If ANC doesn't at the very least invite and discuss this GNU with those willing it becomes nothing but a coalition agreement. The DA being vocal about it doesn't help either. Do these things behind closed doors.

Exactly, this is a coalition government, not a GNU. Let DA/IFP leave the coalition then lets see what "GNU" there is.
