It's not SA's job to "drive down demand". It's the gov's job TO PROVIDE ELECTRICITY FOR ALL. Regardless of demand.

Excellent work, Aunty Pat.
Haar platpoes.
Aunty Pat, tell your pals to increase the supply to where it was last week and we wouldn't have a problem. Demand hasn't changed, supply has dropped 7GW. I bet you don't know what a GW is? It sounds like she learnt a new word when she says "PV panels".
Exactly. These politicians don't have a clue what they are talking about. It's all buzz words. Like a parrot.
WHat have been done in 28 odd years ? Talk.... Talking kak. Buzzwording and bullschitting all the way.
Fcking idiots. The whole lot - Fcking dumb fcks.

The reason Ramaphosa was brought in was to give credibility to the Zuma Presidency, the idea was never to allow him to be President but just like Zuma dribbled Mbeki he was also dribbled by the WMC puppet.

The UF coming in clutch in JHB.

I'm hopeful this city will start turning round. I already see more LED lights being installed. They should get solar panels installed on top of the street lamps, to charge batteries to power it during the night.

The problem is the UF doesn't have a majority there. They need EFF support.

And what worries me is, that if this motion passes, then the next will be a MONC against the mayor and others. Resulting in an ANC/EFF overthrow in EKH.

P.S I see that she's not going to support them. So the UF will band together with the minority parties for the motion?

That's a very likely outcome. I am glad JHB has a majority.

Or abstain, all depends if they are convinced by the allegations. At the very least there should be a process of testing such allegations before people rush to motions. An independent enquiry by a competent body should bete first start for everything, it won't necessarily prove guilt but it would give an idea on whether there is any substance to the allegations.

Which is why I said the UF should have not dealt with the EFF and remained in the opposition until they have a majority. Then when these things happen, they are non issues.
