The fallout from this failed coalition is going to be felt in the DA, I know they are still presenting a united front for now with the court case but things are not what they seem to be, I can see it in in the bones.

You always see anything "in the bones", hoping for a DA implosion.

I highly advise you to stop with the nyaope, my leader.

Lay off the crack, my guy.

Some will join Action SA.

This happened earlier in the year, their removal from the Joburg government is just the catalyst that is going to accelerate whatever was burbling under the surface.

Yeah, I reckon DA will give up on Joburg soon. They will just focus more on just getting their few seats there.

I won't be surprised if Mpho quits as well after this. I get the impression that they are not really listening to her and HZ is using her veto power. We all know who the real actual leader of the DA is.

They are not listening to anyone of the Joburg or even Gauteng leadership, Zille has laid down the law and that's how it is, I don't see her being challenged by anyone so it will be back to the opposition benches for them, maybe someone might be brave enough when Tshwane or Ekurhuleni follows, we don't know.

As much as Maimane was flawed, he built DASO.
Oh? Explain.
Since his exit, it has been on a steep decline like SASCO and EFFSC.
Then how did DASO finally have a Federal Congress for the first time this weekend? If they did it for the first time, it means they grew in such a way that they finally got enough branches to have a Congress? If they are declining so much, why did DASO win NMU of all places by 60%+ of the seats available last week?

Tbh I hope someone can unseat her next year as FEDEX chair at the Federal Congress...

Not going to happen. She is still the poster-child of the funders. She will only leave if she has ill-health and decides to retire but I can see her staying on until around 80 if she stays in good health. Many politicans retire in their early 80s these days.
