If only Mandela stayed a second term. We might not have had Mbeki, so no aids denialism and telling Eskom to shove off when they said they needed more power stations.

Well yes he does make a good point, but not really about the DA failing to be the bigger man... He openly shows that he is an ANC stooge bought and paid for basically, but I vaguely remember many people warning that Gayton and his mate Kenny will turn tail for whoever gives them the most money... well they've at least stayed true to their characters in all of this I suppose.

Rob Hershov is a fscking retard if he wants Gayton or Kenny anywhere near any form of power or SOE budget.

I mean hell Gayton has already shown that he has sweet fek all clue about how things are supposed to be done when he proudly did all that sewerage work in that small town somewhere, and its made the problem worse.

But, and let me get this right this time - If Gayton supports DA at a later stage, then it will not be due to DA giving him money but because Gayton supports DA principles, correct ?

Nope, at least not in my book...

Gayton is a snake and any support he offers should be viewed with skepticism because he will change his tune at the drop of a R100 note. In my opinion he only ever supports something if there is something in it for him.

Ok. We will see how it goes when Gayton supports DA. I would like to know how much he got from DA. Being cadre, I know how we are offering him but it will be nice to know the other side.

I'd also love to know how much/what he got from the DA to be part of the coalition in JHB in all honesty... what "power" was promised to him for the support.

Yeah, good point. The UF had to offer them something, I guess? Maybe MMC positions, here and there?

Yeah, student politics is a joke. Its more of an audition for aspiring politicians to make it.

There are some from student politics who made it to parliament. Yusuf Cassim and Gwenn Ngwenya from the DA. Naledi Chirwa and a few others from the EFF.
