Human rights are bad sometimes, someone who is addicted to drugs shouldn't be in a position to have a say, as long as the facility they are being taken to complies with all the laws of the country, regulations pertaining to the health and social welfare sector, they really shouldn't even get a chance to put a word in, they are sick in the head and their family or duly authorized body such as a government entity should be fully empowered to take decisions on your behalf.

So as long as the family agrees, your nyaope addicted behind shall be hauled to the farm at once, one day when you are clean and sober you can decide what you want to do.

So I have a totally different view point in terms of drug use and the best way to overcome it.

But regardless of that, my biggest issue with this "state farm" concept is that we KNOW our government don't give a toss about the citizens and this farm will just be a new way to skim money from the state and if that means screwing over some useless addicts that nobody cares about, it will be done.

It'll probably be like your usual decaying state hospital. Or in the worst case, Life Esidimeni...

I unfortunately would tend towards expecting a Life Esidimeni type of setup. The addicts are merely a source of revenue for some person/entity.
Our state health officials don't have a great track record of caring for the fellow human beings in all honesty.

But as a citizen who has endless problems with the Association of Nyope Boys and their tireless liberation movement, I can't wait for it to kick off!

Oh I have a huge problems with our Nyaope Boys as well, but even in that I don't wish them to be lost in our uncaring state "care" facilities...

I would personally volunteer to patrol the perimeter fence when I am off work, of course as a service to my country and not expecting any rewards, just to make sure no one escapes.

Some of esteemed state medical staff dont even know what Alzheimers or dementia is...
Cant wait for outcome of the challenge of cleaning up addicts...

Lol...I have enough fun patrolling my own fence and my neighbours...As a service to the useless pigs.

After losing loads of stuff I'm over giving a toss for these fkrs....So long as they are off the streets and out of our way. (Its safer for them then me catching one in my yard again....:laugh:)
 
R2m for a councillor in some fsck arse end of nowhere pondokkiesfontein place? I think the ANC are possibly smoking their socks.

That equates to just under 1% of the entire municipalities annual budget, and from what I can tell the IFP control the municipality anyway
