There's just too many potholes. There's some insurance company helping fix potholes but must I say I don't see a difference. There was a pothole in my area, and I saw some guy pull up with a bag of cement and a helper. Fixed up the pothole. Two days later and a light sprinkling or rain and we had a worse hole lol.
Potholes are SA's national pastime. What happens here in my muni is they straight up just fill the pothole with some gravel... I've only seen a handful actually fixed recently, otherwise it's just gravel...

And due to many years of neglect there in GP, there are probably thousands to millions of them. So it'll probably take a while.

Seeing mention of potholes, Emfuleni have been proactive and converted one of theirs into a swimming pool.

Very good, because government Ministers like saying a lot of things to placate the masses and as soon as everyone has calmed down they go back to sleep.

How many illegal foreigners have they arrested lately? Because they went on a blitz just after the Diepsloot and Soweto incidents, bragging about it, looks like they have already forgotten about that because things have calmed down for now.

It is still a good idea tho. Scrap metal traders are at the centre of our infrastructure vandalism/looting problem.

I don't know, haven't seen anything in the news. So we don't know for sure.

But I can probably agree that they've gone back to "screensaver" mode.

When someone with the credentials of Gwen Ngwenya jumps over then IMO the DA will have lost the plot.
Gwen is in too deep, if she ever leaves it won't be to another party.

She doesn't have much in terms of political credentials by the way, her presence in the DA has always been in the background, she might be a good policy maker and strategist but she is no politician, even if she left tomorrow there is no constituency that would follow her, it would be just another day.

If more leaders of theirs (former or current) defect to ASA, the DA will go into full panic stations.

We'll have to wait and see...

She understands economics and has a good working background in the private sector, loyal to DA even after her fall out with Maimane, groom her for future role in leadership.
