Yes i tried that,well if you dont manage to get your wifi working you can always try die DXIA5
 
What would you guys suggest is the best way to hard reset? Via the settings menu or the 3 handed button press method? I basically want the phone back to the DXIA5 ROM I flashed late last week.
I know that they both probably do exactly the same thing... just thought I'd ask incase I was wrong

Hey Guys

I have a big problem with my omnia, every so often i get an error through error reporting about tmail.exe and have realised the error comes about when I receive an sms. The problem is the sms doesnt show on my phone and i just get the error report. Therefore it seems the sms automatically gets deleted without me reading it. Its very annoying and I'm not sure what the cause is, and only happens with certain sms's.

I assume its a third party app causing the problem but not sure which one and i dont want to hard-reset.

It is awesome !
The screen resolution of 480x800 is a huge improvement.I have never been a fan of HTC's camera's but i must say that they have managed to put a very decent 5Mp in the HD,the photo quality actually looks better,i might just be imagining this or it could be the 480x800 screen that plays tricks on my eyes.It is very responsive,the huge LCD makes it very finger friendly,i seldom take out the stylus.And my WiFi actually works! lol
The virtual keyboard's layout & size is also more comfortable and easy to use.

On the down side,it can be a bit big/heavy compared with omnia,battery lasts about 2-3 days,compared to my omnia's 5-6days

They are readily available at most cellular shops,got an OEM one a couple of weeks back from Vodashop for R240

k, but I think I'd rather wait and go for the Amazon option at $1.65.
Got a friend coming down from the UK next week, so I'll get him to bring it down with him rather :o

I noticed that the specific cable is for the BlackJack and other models, not specifically the Omnia.
Are they generic that they should work on the Omnia?

Its taken me a while to read through this thread, I must admit a lot is "Greek" to me but hay I need to learn somewhere lol!!!
I have A "Stupid" question Not very technical but here goes.
When going to Start>Programmes>Clock>Alarms(Drop Down arrow)>Memorial day i have entered in Nine birthday reminders the Omia however wont let me enter any more. The new button on the bottom left hand side is faded out and will not let me program any more new birthdays.

If any one could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, I did a quick test and mine took 10. May I suggest you use the calendar instead...

Yes you can, just change the occurs to e.g.: every May 12. And if you do have outlook on your computer use it to backup/sync your calendar.
