and only happens when I enable the power saving thing

loaded touchx7 last night

First impressions: not impressed

Cant find half the settings i'm looking for. It feels like some things have been 'dumbed down'(cant find encryption settings for WIFI for example)

:(

interesting point there joe.....

what else is missing? i dont use wifi myself

Hi again

Ok so last night i load Touch x version 7. IT loaded fine but when i tried to do a hard reset it just booted up, now the same thing happened when i loaded 6.12b previously and also when it booted up the the cooker said that i we would be able to finish the align screen but and this would happen a few time but its just one one of the downsides of using some software. I aligned my screen the first time and came up again. So just wondering why this i not happened as per cooker.

Just wondering has this anyone happened to any of you??

Also the G Sensor calibration setting don't work though i don't know how important that is on the X1 as it never worked on 6.12b either.

Well despite not being able to hard reset it seems to be running fine.

Oh and it seems in the camera panel u not able to take a pic with a flash it seems.

Hey guys,

Trying to update my phones software with the SE update software on Windows 7, but it's (the software) not picking up my phone. Windows did pick it up and downloaded the driver from the net, but still nothing...

Anyone else had this problem?

in disk drive mode as well? or only active sync mode

Hi guys,

I got a problem.

My X1 is stuck in hands-free mode.

I can't answer calls without the headset and no sound coming out the speaker(music) and the headphone Icon is on even when headset unplugged!

any suggestions?

I struggled with the X1 and Windows 7 also, but got it working eventually.

Have you downloaded Windows Mobile Device Center?

The sd card method I find much faster and fool proof
1.Hard Spl
2.Rename kovsimg_sys21048_xip21032.nbh to kovsimg.nbh
3.Copy kovsimg.nbh to root of memory stick
4.Switch off Phone (Make sure you have at least a 50% charge on phone)
5. Hold down volume down and power button simultaneously wait till tricolor screen appears then follow on screen prompts
6.When says 100% complete take out battery for 3 seconds then replace battery and switch phone on (Prepare to be amazed)

No, when you turn the phone off and then remove the battery and press the 2 buttons to get the coloured striped screen to pre-pair it for the update...

I struggled with the X1 and Windows 7 also, but got it working eventually.

Have you downloaded Windows Mobile Device Center?

Have not downloaded it, is it needed when you want to do a phone update?

Sorry, but what is Spl? Where can I download this Touch 7 thingy or read more about it?

Make sure you rename the kovsimg file to ruu_signed.nbh and then run the ruu utility. All that should be in the RUU Kovsky folder (to make it simpler) is the RUU Utility and the ruu_signed.nbh file.

You don't need need to do a hard reset. The phone will reboot it self and will run through the setup steps as if you switched on the phone for the first time.
