YES I GOT IT WORKING NOW!! thnx so much,

just one more thing ,my map is only abt 100mg..isnt it suppose to be about 2000mb at least? unless im using an older version...im using 720 not 730..

i think i have got an old map coz it doesnt show westwood mall in durban, anyone know how to update ur map? whats the difference between the 720 version of sa map and 730?

and when i click option of home-work traffic it says the function is not available in your region?

Hi guys anyone using the on the road panel, using it at the moment it great only one hiccup does anyone know how to change the default navigation to tomtom or garmin it's default is google maps and doesent allow to change
 
Do anyone know if TomTom or Garmin can be used for hiking trails???????

dude that link is to 2.0 not 3...and it been out since February....seriously!! you got me excited there.... winterface is pretty cool though and the new point ui home 2 panel also cool...and my garmin software not working

3 is out, but it hangs every now and then, love the 3d spin, but back to TF3D2 for me.

TouchITV7 at xda is very fast and stable. Best ROM so far.
 
hi guys,

can anyone help me? I got my X1 on Saturday and charged it. Charged it yesterday as well.it was fully charged at around 11PM last night. This morning at around 10pm it was dead??? WTF?? My HSDPA was on so I did turn it off just now but can't see that it makes that much of a diff. I didn't play with it or anything. The back light is set to dim at 10sec and goes to standy in 40 sec. Can the battery be faulty? If so how do I know? I did install nodata and I did disable everything except the mms service.

The other thing is the GPS... The TomTom one in the forum, is that n cracked version or what? I did install wayfinder but it asked me if I wanted to buy it for to much money, lol... Any free gps programs out there?

Should I rather return the phone and get a new one?

It is also starting to ask my pin code every few minutes? And I see there's no signal as well??? WFT??
 
Just phoned vodacom. They said I should check it till Friday. If it's still not working they'll exchange it for me but will take around a week or 2 coz of the holiday's... :-(

I can't get a hard reset to work??? Also if i find a way (coz pressing the 2 buttons and the thing in at the back doesn't work (also tried pressing the 2 buttons and the power button)) will it delete my SIM contacts??

Maybe I should have taken the HTC Touch Pro :-(

get vodacom to swap it out as soon as you can take it to a vodacare and return it immediately I think they trying to stall you cause on Friday your 7 day OBF warranty will expire and they will repair this phone instead of replacing it with a new one, It sounds sneaky to me
 
they said I can bring it in on Thursday or Friday.

I bought it on Saturday so I still have time? Are there big problems with the phone or am I just a unlucky ass??
 
no ways they cutting it fine... i reckon you get there today still and give em hell !!!!!

on another note . SPB mobile shell 3 is the best thing that has ever happened on my x1

its just awesome. you guys have to try it. and mine is solid. not a crash or hang with it :)
